Our Philosophy
A Martial Arts System should be something that you can do. Although you
will have to be open to learning new things, all of the ideas and concepts that
you learn are attainable.
Our System
Chikara Budokai means Path of the Empowered Warrior
In Chikara Budokai
Chikara Martial Arts Academy is dedicated to
teaching smaller groups of people at one time. We like to focus our
attention on the individuals.
We are serious about working out together as a family, to teach and learn how to
defend oneself better for today's world.
Programs at Chikara Martial Arts Academy fit your physical and mental needs,
desire for fun, and your busy schedule. Chikara Budokai is a form of
traditional martial arts applied to modern self-defense practices. Some of our
goals are to help
promote discipline, self-control, safety and
self-defense in your life.
We believe the time between the ages of 3 and 6 are the most
important years of a child’s development. Our Little Warriors program focuses on
improving pre-school age children’s basic motor and listening skills so they can
enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will learn
such skills as focusing, teamwork, control, balance, memory, discipline,
fitness, and coordination, helping them to become better students at school,
better listeners at home, and more ambitious about the future. The learning is
fun and educational.
We also have our Juniors program starting at age 7 and up
to age 15.
Adult Classes are for Ages 16 and Above.
At Chikara we don’t just
produce champions in martial arts, we produce champions in life.
